Casa Vista: Exclusive Hideaway Overlooking Cebu’s Cityscape

When Luigi invited me to celebrate his 21st birthday (ahem!), together with his ex-colleagues, in yet another exclusive hideaway with visually dazzling infinity pool called Casa Vista, how can I say no? Spending his birthday in a personal-picked venue makes everything perfect and worthwhile. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone, I supposed.  So what made him pick Casa Vista? Let’s find out.

Perched on a hilltop along Talisay-Cebu boundary, Casa Vista is a budget-friendly villa that provides a contemporary accommodation to anyone looking for an escape from the metro’s hurly burly. What used to be a businessman’s residential house is now one of Cebu’s sought-after place for family gatherings, reunions and exclusive events. With less than 30 minutes drive from the heart of Metro Cebu, you get to experience a quality and luxurious time with your loved ones without going too far.

Boasting a 1,000 square meters real property, this American-inspired villa is big enough to host any kind of gathering ~ ranging from small-sized family staycation to catering the needs of corporate outings.

You can have a stress-free getaway by enjoying the elegant pool and relaxing tropical garden. The natural majesty of Cebu City’s green-filled environment will overwhelm you while enjoying the ultimate comfort in Casa Vista’s modern facilities.

The shallow infinity pool is just one of the major highlight of Casa Vista’s recreational amenities. The pool’s dimension is approximately 12 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 4 feet deep. At the left-most parallel end of the long, straight section of the infinity pool, the depth now measures 6 meters (so be careful in this area!).

If you are not yet in the mood of swimming in the infinity pool, then this cool jacuzzi or “swim spa” might be the best option for you. It certainly added complementary function in the already lovely landscape.

The pool overlooks nothing short of a panoramic spectacle. With its sky-hue infinity pool offering an exquisite view of Cebu’s cityscape, your stay in Casa Vista is worth every dip and dive.

Casa Vista’s infinity pool stayed true to its beauty and elegance even at night. The city lights will surely add dramatic effect as a backdrop of the pool.

You can have a night swimming or just emote in the poolside while indulging in the ultimate luxury of Casa Vista’s generous offerings. The surrounding is so serene from dusk to dawn making it a perfect venue to embrace and appreciate the sounds of nature.

It’s dinner time!  Truth be told, Luigi knows how to cook and I admire him for even preparing the food for us. Ahhh, such a sweet pal!  We then sang the birthday song and wished him all the best in life. Choz!

And of course, this post would not be complete without showcasing the birthday boy’s two yummy cakes. Look how happy he was! Sure he had a blast!

Aside from the infinity pool, included in the rental of the place are three (3) standard room with T&B (as opposed to Executive Accommodation). The rooms are big and can accommodate up to 4 pax or more (with extra foam). Each room has aircon, and excellent wi-fi connection. AhHh, the ultimate comfort of home is just within your reach.

Since I only got a chance to take photos of the interior on the second day, please excuse the mess of the party’s aftermath. LOL! But yes, you’ll surely love the palatial dining area and kitchen. It has complete appliances, utensils and cooking sets. Grilling area is also available, situated just outside this room and accessible via the brown door.

This is the spacious living room wherein you can enjoy KTV or card game with your families and friends. When it’s time to retire for the night and you’re too tired to get up and go to your room, then you are free to sleep in the couch or bring a foam with you. Either way, you’ll surely have an uninterrupted good sleep you’ve always wanted.

Wake up early in the morning to witness God’s majestic spectacle. The view during sunrise is just breathtaking I must say. At the view/pool deck, marvel at the horizon wherein natural creations and man-made structures collide.

And the bonding with new-found friends continued in this dreamland. It was such a humbling experience to try first-hand how to indulge like an infinity pool connoisseur!

Here, away from the bustle of the city, you can completely break away and simply revel in ease ~ may it be with your family, friends or significant other.

How To Get There

Casa Vista is located at 34 Bogota St., Vista Grande Subdivision, Bulacao, Cebu-Talisay boundary. From the second guardhouse, going uphill, first corner to the right (opposite of Sacramento road) turn right, then turn left. Then second corner to the right, turn right and then you’ll see the casa vista on the right side (Bogota St.), before reaching the barn-like yellow house. Policies and Conditions

Here are some things to remember during your stay in Casa Vista:

• All photos shown above are part of STANDARD accommodation (good for small groups). If you want an upgraded room and better facilities, then book the EXECUTIVE accommodation.
• Specifically state the number of persons who’ll be taking Day Use or Overnight package as the rate per excess is different
• Take note of the check-in/out time (Check-in at 2:00 PM, Check-out at 11:00 AM) as there will be corresponding charges for early check-in or late check out
• Pool will be closed at 10:00 PM
• Pool deck/view deck will be closed at 12:00 MN
• Towel and toiletries are not provided
• Drinking water and charcoal is not provided
• There is no backup room provided for functions/events. Putting up of tents is allowed on the grass area only
• There is no backup generator set in case there is a power failure
