Sunset Cruise and Beyond: 3-Day International Travel Festival Sails Away This July 2019
“Distinctively seasational” – two words that hooked me right away as I was reading the e-invite card disguised as a boat boarding pass. Well, it’s not some sort of a riddle but I knew then that it’s gonna be BIG!
When it comes to travel, most people are relying on trade shows and consumer fairs more than ever, not only as a source of getting the best travel deals but also as a source of inspiration. How about a unique sunset cruise to be an avenue to initially launch the biggest travel fair in the region – International Travel Festival (ITF)?! Much more awe-inspiring!
ITF Sail Away: Sunset Cruise
The sea is calling and I must sail away and go! Aye Aye, Captain!
Guests initially alighted at the first seaport, Mactan Marina Wharf. We were divided into two groups to be transported via small boat going to Jokai Cruise. As we reached the party yacht, sailors greeted us and we were then given welcome drinks.
Island Beauty. Urban Style. We’re so ready to escape the city! The sunset cruise ensued with a big wave as we started our adventure with P/Y Jokai 1.
We sailed away to the famed Liloan Lighthouse along Mactan channel and along the way, enjoyed the scenic seascape. The rest of the afternoon was stupendous!
This two-hour sunset cruise was hosted by MyEventology Co. as part of the 6th Edition of International Travel Festival – Philippines happening this July 12-14, 2019 at Ayala Center Cebu! More details of the ITF 2019 below.
Aside from the cool house music, unlimited cocktails and “pika-pika“, everyone on board enthusiastically played the famous card game called BINGO and win some awesome prizes.
Travel remains a happy antidote when pursuing personal happiness. I couldn’t stress this statement more. Even aboard this charter boat, everyone was specially treated with a free massage while chillaxing and doing their own thing.
The Sunset Cruise was rad! I had the best time of my life as I sail away aboard Jokai Yacht while sunset cruisin’ splendidly along Mactan Channel. It’s totally one for the books!
How about a perfect sunset hue over Mactan Bridge for our backdrop? Truly magical!
ITF Evening Feast at Bluewater Maribago
And of course, our ITF Sailaway journey didn’t end there. We headed to our next stop, Bluewater Maribago Resort and Spa for a feast not to be missed!
Together with Cebu Bloggers Society’s officers, I really enjoyed the magical alfresco evening banquet at Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort. With all the fun activities, sumptuous food and great company, I can say that the ITF Sailaway experience was a blast!
