On March 26th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan released the new measures to strengthen border measures to include visa suspension of the validity of single entry and multiple entry visa issued on March 27, 2020 by Japanese Embassies in various countries, including the Philippines. This suspension is only temporary, in order to prevent the further spread of infections. However, should it be lifted in the near future, you may want to secure necessary requirements for the tourist visa ahead of time.
